Thanks for checking out my website! I am a Technical Artist, currently working at Blizzard Entertainment on Diablo IV. I graduated from Michigan State University's Game Development program in Spring of 2017 with a major in Media & Information and a minor in Game Design & Development, and I spend much of my free time writing shaders, tools, and game-systems.
My focuses as a Technical Artist are primarily look development and tools programming. I believe that these two disciplines combine my love of art and my knack for efficiency. These mindsets push all of my work to the highest level of visual quality while maintaining the largest amount of simplicity for the end-user.
But at the end of the day, I consider myself a Technical Artist second and a Game Developer first. I love video games for everything that they are - powerful narratives, beautiful worlds, and engaging, immersive experiences. I take immense pride in the games that I work on, and my passion to create them can stretch far beyond my discipline. I'm never happier than when I'm pouring my heart and soul into my work.
