Bio

Thanks for checking out my website!  I am a Senior Technical Artist, currently working at Blizzard Entertainment on Diablo IV.  I graduated from Michigan State University's Game Development program in Spring of 2017 with a major in Media & Information and a minor in Game Design & Development, and I spend much of my free time writing shaders, tools, and game-systems.

 

Throughout the years I have cemented my focus as a technical artist in graphics.  I love to work in game engines and get excited about working in the creative constraints of realtime rendering.  The parts of my job I enjoy most are writing shaders, coming up with elegant solutions to complex problems, and helping to guide artists in shipping the best art they possibly can.

 

But at the end of the day, I consider myself a Technical Artist second and a Game Developer first.  I love video games for everything that they are - powerful narratives, beautiful worlds, and engaging, immersive experiences.  I take immense pride in the games that I work on, and my passion to create them can stretch far beyond my discipline.  I'm never happier than when I'm pouring my heart and soul into my work.​
